When you have a boudoir shoot at Cleveland Boudoir part of what is included in your final products are individually retouched images. Each client has a specific number of images they purchase and we go through and hand edit each file. My goal is always to make the images look like you but just a little fancier and sexier than the every day you. I always say, I don’t perform “photoshop plastic surgery” but I do touch up as needed.
With the power of photoshop, I try my best to smooth and correct some things here and there. But you will still look like you. You know when your significant other, best friend, mom says you look gorgeous- well, it’s because you are! We have a hard time seeing that ourselves but I promise you, we aren’t lying! We really see you as gorgeous, without flaws, I want you to see how everyone else sees you!
In this before and after, I color corrected, added some warmth to the image to match the scene (candles). I airbrushed the skin lightly but you can still see texture. I also fixed the back fold which was caused from the lingerie design on back and brought in the stomach just a bit.
I think there is something that is put out in the universe about bruises and boudoir sessions. It’s like everyone runs into a table or their dog jumps on them the day before their shoot! Bruises are actually one of the top things I spend time retouching. I also retouched the back to remove a little of the line/shadows which are a result of spray tanning. Face is touched up for a breakout (also something that always happens right before a shoot!). Coloring wise, I color corrected and added some warmth along with some airbrushing.
The next one goes out to my moms! I have 2 beautiful boys who gave me some not very beautiful stretch marks. Even though my husband could care less about them, I know they are there and they do admittedly stress me out. If you’d like them removed, we can remove them. If you’d like them slightly airbrushed and lightened, we can do that as well. The decision is up to you on this one.
This day we had some awesome sun coming in so I wanted to keep that warmth in the after. Just added a little warmth for the color and that’s it. For the skin, I did a airbrush but still keeping texture. I knew this client wasn’t fond of her arms so I brought in the arm and removed the shadow line to not bring your eye there. Boom!
